Fun abounds for Bluff pensioner golfers

PENSIONERS in Bluff with a handicap are called out to join the feisty and vibrant over 55 golfers at the Bluff National Golf Club.
Peter Riddle, who oversees the playing of social golf among a group of golfers aged over 55 years at the club, said it is a great way for pensioners to get together and have a good time.
“You walk around a lot on the greens so you get a work out and also gain the possibility of making some lasting and lifelong friendships along the way,” he said.

The members gather weekly and enjoy competitions which encourages them to improve their game. Although it gets competitive, it is a fun time focused primarily on promoting a healthy lifestyle.
