Characteristics of a narcissist

Narcissists have a tendency to take extravagant photographs of themselves to brag about their status.

Chances are in your life you’ve encountered a narcissist. This is a person who always spins the topic of conversation back to themselves, bragging about having the latest and greatest of everything. This type of person also thinks that they are smarter and better than you in everything.

Truth is in life we are going to experience a lot and meet a lot of people who will either make or break us and might be more nuanced than you think they are in the movies, some are even clinically diagnosed as a narcissistic personality disorder. These are people you may like at first and may confuse their personality for confidence – which a lot of people like.

According to live science narcissists are mainly found in leadership roles- most of them may even think that is in such leadership positions when they aren’t, because of their desire to constantly be in control.
They always make the conversation about themselves – self-promotion is life to these people and making themselves seem better than others, says W. Keith Campbell a narcissist researcher and co-author of The Narcissism Epidemic: Living in the Age of Entitlement.
They always manage to make the conversation about themselves, “You could start talking to a person about how you have cancer, and pretty soon you’re talking about their new car,” Campbell explained.

Appearance and having the best is everything to them to “show off”. They also have a lot of friends on social media and in reality, they don’t like anyone. They also have a tendency to take extravagant photographs of themselves to brag about their status.
They love to point blame at everyone but themselves. “They’re good at making excuses and not taking credit for mistakes they make,” Campbell said.
