Charm your date on Valentine’s Day with classic movies

What is your favourite romance movie of all time?

With Valentine’s Day coming up, it’s wise to have a plan on how you’re going to woo your date.

The best place to start is a romantic movie marathon, especially if you plan on a low budget evening with your partner.  Classic and romantic movies offer a great variation of moments that can earn you some brownie points and even more so when your date finds out that you enjoy romantic flicks like her or him.

Take it back….way back when chivalry was still  a thing

  1. Casablanca. This  award-winning classic was and still is one of the most popular movies. It has drama, tears, kisses and a love triangle, making this movie one of the ideal ones to watch.

Another oldie but goldie: Cleopatra

The love affair between Cleopatra and Mak Anthony is on it’s own heart thumping since the lead actors Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton were living their own real-life romance.

3. The 90s also offered a number of brilliant and beautiful films. One can’t talk about romance without mentioning The Titanic. No matter how many times we can argue that there was space on the door for Jack, his love for Rose was undeniable.
