Teen critical after being hit by truck in Clairwood

Rescue Care Paramedics responded just after 1.30pm to find the critically injured teen on the roadway.

A teenager is in a critical condition after she was struck by a truck on Flower Road in Clairwood on Tuesday afternoon, 30 January.

Rescue Care Paramedics responded just after 1.30pm to find the critically injured teen on the roadway.

Advanced life support paramedics stabilised her at the scene and placed her on a manual ventilator before they rushed her to hospital.

Events leading up to the collision are unclear, but police were at the scene and will investigate further.
