A BLUFF dog training group run by a husband and wife team, held a food drive among its members for two shelters that take in and help abandoned dogs.

Justice Kennels dog training group, which has been run by policemen Theo and Belinda van Noordwyk for the last four years, is a family-orientated training group with members travelling from as far as Umkomaas, Monteseel and Durban North.

Last month, they held a food drive which all their dog owners supported by taking along dog and cat food. They also garnered support from Bluff Meat Supply, which came on board and donated pet’s mince towards the drive.

As a result, a mound of food was collected and handed over to Kay Sargeant, who runs Animal Lodge in Inchanga.

Equally supported was the Bluff’s Debbie Moss who also does invaluable work with stray dogs.
