UPDATE: Trio to return to court next week for Clairwood boys’ double murder

They will appear again on Monday, where they will join Maliwa on the same charges.

THE woman accused of murdering two 10-year old Clairwood Primary grade three pupils, Amahle Maliwa will appear in Durban Magistrates Court again on Monday, 20 November once she has secured an attorney to represent her.

Maliwa stands accused of the murder of best friends, Njabulo Mankayi and Luyanda Msomi which rocked South Durban and the rest of the country at the weekend.
Luyanda’s body was found in Dove Crescent, Montclair on Saturday, 11 November while Njabulo’s body was recovered from a canal in Langebaan Road, Bayhead. The Clairwood Primary School pupils were last seen boarding a bus last Thursday, 9 November.

The 28-year-old Maliwa was arrested and charged for two counts of murders, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Yesterday, Maliwa’s co-accused Liziwe Ngwayishe and Ali Yusuf appeared in the magistrates court and were remanded in custody. They will appear again on Monday, where they will join Maliwa on the same charges.
