Holiday fun planned as Montwood library re-opens

Despite having the library closed again, librarian, Lionel Reddy is determined to continue his work with the community.

MONTWOOD library at the Montclair Mall has re-opened and will host a fun holiday programme for children from 2 to 5 October.
While the library was closed for a week from 21 to 28 September, it had a great impact on the community who felt it unfair that their only hub for knowledge and peace was shut down yet again, because the city was in arrears on its rent.

This was the second closure this year due to rental arrears, after it was first closed for a fortnight in June.
