Goliath duo shares more than mirth
The duo said communities like Wentworth are dear to their hearts and to give back, to inspire and instil hope in pupils is what they aim to do.
Comedic duo, Goliath and Goliath have left the pupils of Umbilo Secondary not only in tears from laughter but with their minds filled with good advice and inspiration during their visit to the school on Friday, 17 August in Wentworth.

Nicholas and Donovan Goliath along with their manager Kate Goliath had a blast as they took time out of their packed schedule to spend time with the Umbilo Secondary pupils.
The whole plan to visit the school started when a teacher from Umbilo messaged the Goliaths on Facebook and mentioned what a great idea it would be for them to perform for the children. “It’s something Donovan always wanted to do. He has always had a plan to give back to the communities, and when he got that message he believed it would be a great way to start this initiative,” said manager, Kate. “Communities like Wentworth are very dear to our hearts and to give back, to inspire and instil hope in these pupils is what we aim to do.
“We want to be the voice that motivates these children to push themselves past their limits,” added Kate.
After the hilarious act, pupils were given the opportunity to ask the comedic duo questions about the business and about how they got to where they are today.

Nicholas, who is a firm believer in following your dreams, told the pupils to never listen to what others say about you. “Do what makes you happy, chase your happy and spread happiness. I hope what we say sticks with these children, so that one day they will make it big in doing what they love. It doesn’t have to be comedy. It can be any dream they have, any desire that lives in their heart. Do what makes you happy,” he said. “It’s tough out there in the real world. Everyone is competing with each other, we are surrounded by negativity. Don’t let what people think or say about you let you down. Nobody wants to be a follower. Be the leader you are destined to be,” he advised.
