BRIGHTON Beach police need help in their investigation of a hit and run on Saturday, 24 June, which led to the death of a 44-year-old man.

At about 4am a man was found by paramedics on the verge of Brighton Road, between a liquor outlet and fuel station.

“The man’s severe head injuries were an indication that he was a victim of a hit and run. He was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital, where he remained in a coma until he died on Saturday, 22 July.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact Warrant Officer Louis Smale on 079-500-1019.
