Can you relate to acts of resistentialism?

When everything just seems to be against you.

EVER felt like that table leg is just out to get you, or that your evil bedroom door handle positions itself just to catch your shirt when you walk past?

That, my friends is this week’s #SLSWednesdayWord, resistentialism – the appearance of malicious actions by inanimate objects.

I don’t know about you, but I often feel like my computer is out to slow me down for no apparent reason, my earphone cord is secretly plotting to strangle me and my hairbands conspire to fall into crevices just beyond my reach. Resistentialism is quite a humourous way to think of these objects as trying to spite you.
