Celebrate your cuzzies today!

Celebrate with your family friends.

CELEBRATE the people who were your first friends growing up this International Cousins Day, 24 July.

Cousins share a bond that surpasses many familial bonds.

They are usually the crew you go exploring with and who you turn to while the grown-ups talk about boring, grown-up stuff.

As you grew up together they became confidants, drinking buddies and eventually the grown-ups who you talk to about grown-up stuff while younger family members sit one side, making faces.

The term ‘my cousin’ has even become a popular South Africanism, thanks to comedian, Barry Hilton. Like siblings, cousins were the friends your parents always approved of and they had your back no matter what.

Celebrate your cousins this Cousins Day by going out or staying indoors – whatever you enjoy doing best together.
