A WENTWORTH woman is desperately  searching for her 70-year-old mother who went missing yesterday afternoon (4 July).

The elderly woman who was last seen in Austerville Drive is believed to be suffering from Dementia.

Members of the community have reported seeing her in different parts of Wentworth but she is moving from one location to the next.

Her daughter Gael Meek Baltimore is pleading with anyone who sees her to be aware of her illness. “She will most likely be confused and may not be able to articulate herself in order to be understood. She responds to the name Adelaide Meek or Mrs Meek,” said Gael.

Mrs Meek suffers from advanced Dementia and is mostly likely confused and does not remember her way home especially during the night.

“She is 5ft tall with short spiked grey hair and is wearing an off-white T-shirt, powder blue bermudas with a darker blue stripe and green, yellow, red. She is wearing New Balance running shoes and has no jacket or jersey on. Please help me find my mom,” cried Gael.
