Fake branded clothing seized

The goods were destined for the SA market.

IMITATION branded clothing was confiscated in the Durban harbour on Thursday, 22 June in an operation by the SAPS transnational investigation unit.

Athletic wear brought in from China and destined for the South African market, was found in the harbour. The items included forged Nike, Adidas and Converse gear.

No arrests have been made yet, but police had identified suspects and are investigating further.
