Montclair police seize heroin haul

The man appeared in court on Monday, 12 June.

A MAN was caught red-handed with 250 pink and grey capsules suspected to be heroin on Friday, 9 June.

Montclair SAPS’ W/O Rakesh Kalijee, W/O Raymond Smolas and Sgt Bernard Wilkins noticed the men walking towards Yellowwood Park from Higginson Highway during their crime prevention duties.

When they stopped the men and W/O Kalijee searched the one man, he found a packet containing the drugs. He was arrested for possession of drugs and appeared in the Wentworth court on Monday, 12 June.
