Boost your Scrabble score with #SLSWednesdayWord

Your #SLSWednesdayWord beings with one of the English language's rare letters.

FOR a high Scrabble score, this week’s obscure word is just right.

Xanthodontous means having yellow teeth. It is derived from the Greek words for yellow and toothed, xanthos and odon respectively.

It has fallen out of use in modernity but is a great word to throw into a casual conversation to impress your friends or to use in a word game.
