Twitter users react to #ParisAgreement announcement

On 1 June, president Trump announced that the US will withdraw from the accord.

SOCIAL media has erupted with reactions to president, Donald Trump’s announcement that America will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.

The accord was signed in 2015 by countries across the globe, apart from Nicaragua, citing the agreement as not being tough enough and Syria, which was and still is involved in a civil war. Signatories of the accord agreed to certain frameworks around the emission of greenhouse gases and other contributors to global warming.

On 1 June, president Trump announced that the US will withdraw from the accord and Twitter erupted with responses, both in agreement with him and in opposition:
