Pastors provide delicious lunch for seniors
About 200 senior citizens attended the lunch.
The Merewent Community Crime Prevention Association (MCCPA) treated senior citizens in the Merewent area to a sumptuous lunch on Friday, 28 April.
MCCPA is a group of pastors from the Merewent area who are involved in crime prevention in Merebank and Wentworth. They hosted the lunch to honour and thank the senior citizens.
About 200 senior citizens attended the lunch. MCCPA partnered with the eThekwini city managers, members of the community and former residents of Ward 68 to make the lunch possible.
