City buys land for budding farmers
The acquisition and set up is expected to be completed in June.
ETHEKWINI Municipality is in the process of buying two farms to improve the lives of emerging farmers.
The indigenous free-range chicken value chain project will be set up on the land at portion 278 of the Farms Uitkomst and Doornrug from RCL Foods Consumer.
Residents are invited to form economic entities to participate in the plan. It is hoped the acquisition and set up will be completed in June.
