Celebrated in the UK and US, Tell a Story Day is used as a way to bring people together through storytelling and shared tales.
With today also being Freedom Day in South Africa, storytelling is a vital tool to bring families together with prose or poetry on just what freedom means.
Whatever you do today, try to take some time to share and learn from your family, friends, colleagues or neighbours.
