Second crash in a day at M7 junction injures 5

Two collisions took place at the intersection of the M7 and Titren Road

A second crash took place on Saturday afternoon, 22 April, at the intersection of the M7 and Titren Road, injuring five people.

Just after 4.30pm Rescue Care paramedics were called again to this intersection, after an accident at the same spot earlier on Saturday morning.

They found two vehicles had collided in the intersection before one overturned, coming to rest on its roof. Five people sustained various injuries and were all stabilised before being transported to various Durban hospitals for the further care.

The cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will investigate further.
