Pharmacy staff dispense flu jabs at Pathways

We were fortunate to have the Clicks staff visiting us

PATHWAYS, Westville- based centre for the stimulation and education of children with severe disabilities, was visited by Clicks Montclair recently.

Clicks pharmacist Zaheeda Aniff and Sister Sarah Dawood, to administered flu vaccinations through their in-house programme ‘Clicks Helping Hands’ . “We were fortunate to have the Clicks staff visiting us. We service 57 children and young adults and their families on a daily basis, as well as having an active outreach programme assisting children’s homes and individual families in the community.  Due to the nature of the disabilities a staff component of almost 30 is required to provide the attention necessary.

“We are not government funded and we rely solely on fees paid by some of the parents as well as fundraising and donations,” – principal, Jenny Head.

Sister Dawood administered flu vaccines to some of the children and all the staff members. Sister Dawood also checked the blood pressure of the staff members, advising them to visit their clinic, if necessary.
