Clairwood businessman hijacked outside premises

No shots were fired.

A CLAIRWOOD businessman was held up by gunpoint and tied up with cable ties after five men ambushed him outside of his business premises on Friday, 7 April.

At about 5am, the man was getting out of his vehicle outside his business in Sigamoney Road when five men approached and held him at gunpoint.

They demanded his car keys before tying him up with cable ties.

The men jumped into the vehicle and drove off, leaving the man tied up.

The vehicle was later found later  in Umlazi and taken to the police pound. No shots were fired.
