MONTLANDS Library in Montclair Mall had a successful book club launch on Thursday, 6 April.
Some 24 members signed up for the book club and librarian, Lionel Reddy is confident the numbers will grow over time, “The reasons for forming this club were to promote reading among young people, share good reads and tap into the creative writing talents of the youth,” he said.
Guest speaker and author from Yellowwood Park, Dr Frank Naguran, provided the keynote address for the launch. He provided the audience with much motivation to read and listed the benefits thereof.

The club will meet twice per month and new members are welcome to join. The next meeting will take place on 22 April 2017.
