A FIRE is raging in a factory on South Coast Road in the Durban harbour area.
Rescue Care paramedics and other emergency crews are at the scene of the blaze.
One injury has been reported at this stage.
Witnesses have said the smoke has blackened the sky across the city, extending north Durban CBD, driven by a gusting wind.
