Montclair communications officer, Capt Dereck Vijiam confirmed that two men are in police custody and will be charged with murder.

Police believe the men were allegedly hired to kill the Yellowwood Park resident, identified as Graham Garlick, after a man who was living with Garlick was told he would inherit everything from him if he had to die. The man, who police later found cleaning floors at their shared YWP home, was arrested the same day the body was recovered.

His body was found dumped in Umlazi along with his vehicle. “This was planned to look like a hijacking,” said Capt Vijiam.
