THE SA department of defence has issued a warning of loud noises, which may upset animals or sensitive people during the Armed Forces Day celebrations which are set to take place from Thursday to Tuesday, 16 to 21 February.
The warning specifies the following times for loud bangs and pet owners are urged to take necessary precautions to ensure their pets are either sedated or safely enclosed:
18 February: From 10am onwards, during the SANDF capabilities demo at New Beach, Durban.
20 February: From 7pm onwards, during the night shooting display at Blue Lagoon.
21 February: From 10am onwards, during the Armed Forces Day demo at Blue Lagoon.
