ROAD closures will be in effect during the Armed Forces Day celebrations in Durban CBD next week, so plan your route now.
According to eThekwini Municipality, the following areas will be affected on Tuesday, 21 February:
- Umgeni Road southbound from Goble Road will be closed from 8am to 3pm.
- Masabalala Yengwa Avenue (NMR) from Athlone Drive from 8am to 3pm.
- Masabalala Yengwa Avenue (NMR) from Sandile Thusi Road (Argyle) to Goble Road will be closed from 5am to 1pm.
- Sandile Thusi Road (Argyle) will be closed from 10am to noon.
- Isaiah Ntshangase Road (Walter Gilbert) via Umngeni Road northbound will be closed from 10am to noon.
Parking will be available for people wanting to watch the parade along the beachfront.
