Kitty Care gets helping hand through donations

Tatum Ridgway of Kitty Care Durban was blown away by the donations and thanks everyone who has supported them with donations of food, toys and monetary donations.

KITTY Care Durban, which is based in Yellowwood Park, was surprised with recent donations collected through the joint efforts of Animal Assistance Association (AAA) and Petwise KwaZulu-Natal.

AAA works hard to raise many of the necessities needed by various animal rescue charities in Durban.

Bianca Hauser, founder of the non-profit AAA charity, said: “Petwise contacted us before the Christmas period and wanted to assist in raising necessities to help Kitty Care Durban have a fantastic start to the year, which is always a tough time for people.”

Petwise had collection points in each of their stores in KZN, where customers could donate food, tick and flea medication, toys and other items that were needed by Kitty Care.

Debbie Muller, Petwise marketing officer said: “We were happy to get involved and assist in the great work that AAA does. We try to assist wherever we can and think this was a great initiative. We are so thankful to our customers for helping make the new year a great start for the staff and cats of Kitty Care Durban.”
