SDCEA hosts anti-nuke protest

Organisation calls for people to join protest.

THE South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SDCEA) hosts an anti-nuke and fossil fuel protest on Wednesday, 8 February.

The public is invited to participate in the protest, which will be held at Durban City Hall from 9am to noon.

“We are appealing to the South African president to shift away from unsustainable energy. Nuclear energy and fossil fuels are dangerous, expensive and the dirtiest type of energy available. Moreover, nuclear power stations will destroy the South African economy, the environment, people’s livelihoods and future generations,” read a statement by SDCEA.
