Tuck into CROW’s medieval feast

Funds raised at the medieval feast go towards CROW’s vital work to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife.

THE Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) will take lovers back to the medieval times this Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14.

CROW will host a Valentine’s Day medieval feast in aid of CROW at Greensleeves, Medieval Kingdom in Hillcrest at 7pm.

The last medieval feast in March 2014 was well received, with a full house attending the event and this is sure to be even better.

“CROW invites lords and ladies to an evening of good food, live entertainment and dancing. On your arrival at Greensleeves, guests will be ushered to changing quarters where you will get dressed in traditional medieval attire. Be a bishop, monk, jester, knight, lady or wench for the evening,” said CROW spokesman, Sharl Els. “The feast is a great way to kick off what promises to be an exciting year for CROW. We look forward to hosting yet another medieval feast.”

Guests will be served by wenches and lackeys dressed in Elizabethan period costumes while enjoying a four-course meal in true medieval style. The price is R350 per person or R3,000 for a table of 10 or more. Cost for the event includes a four course meal and costume hire. A cash bar will be available.

There will be live entertainment and loads of prizes up for grabs on the evening.

For bookings, call Jacelyn Zwart on 031-462-1127 or email fundraiser@crowkzn.co.za. Funds raised at the medieval feast go towards CROW’s vital work to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife.
