14 injured in taxi crash on M4

It is unknown what caused the collision.

FOURTEEN people were injured after the taxi they were travelling in collided with a barrier on M4 South near the Merebank off-ramp on Tuesday, 13 December.

The accident occurred at about 6.20pm, leaving the passengers injured and the taxi badly damaged.
Rescue Care paramedics stabilised the injured and transported them to hospital.
It is unknown what caused the collision. Police will be investigating.
