New ward committee elected for Bluff
THE new ward 66 committee was voted in on Sunday, 20 November at Kaya Beach, with a number of Bluffites stepping up to the plate.
According to a social media post by ward 66 councillor, JP Prinsloo, these are the people elected for the following portfolios:
- Environmental affairs and parks: Louise Colvin
- Small business development: Gareth Bowden
- Secretary: Casey Pratt
- Legal advisor: Donovan Avenant
- Beach development: Duncan Pratt
- Youth development: Ivan Horner
- Tourism/Sodurba: Melissa Lee Devos
- Economic development: Ian van Biljon
- Sports development: Dave Neilsen
- Social development: Zoe Moore.
“Each of these portfolios will establish their own sub-committees, assisting them to achieve their goals and ensure the Bluff achieves its true potential.
