A MAN died in hospital this morning (Wednesday, 7 September) following a crash on the Bluff late last night, Tuesday, 6 September.
The man was injured when his car crashed into a wall on Marine Drive near Admiral Road at about 11pm.
“Rescue Care paramedics found the critically injured man still in the vehicle. Advanced life support paramedics worked to stabilise him before transporting him through to a nearby hospital.
Doctors worked tirelessly to save the man, however the injuries he had sustained were severe and he died in the early hours of this morning,” said Rescue Care operations director, Garrith Jamieson.
