Soup’s up at Wentworth SAPS

The community was well-fed

Women of Wentworth SAPS served their community and their police station by spending the day cleaning, gardening  and cooking on Thursday, 25 August.

It was a busy day of scrubbing, weed pulling and soup cooking for the women. The community was well-fed thanks to the three large pots of delicious soup they made. The station was packed with people. “This was done as part of Women’s Month, which is the perfect time to give back to the community. We thank the women for all their hard work,”  said Wentworth SAPS communication officer, Cpt Mbuso Gumede.
