Extra prizes make seniors club members lucky

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Dave's daughter Hayley.

MONTCLAIR Senior Citizens Club’s meeting was opened with devotions by Rev Phulmani from St Etheldreda’s Anglican Church, after which Dave welcomed all present and read out apologies from Ron and Phyllis who were not able to join.

All those with birthdays in August were wished for their special day.

Numbers were drawn for the raffle prizes and all were surprised by several extra toiletries donated by Ray for additional prizes. Some members were exceedingly fortunate to have their number drawn more than once so they won a couple of times. Colin then had everyone laughing at his joke.

After tea Ray Ludik entertained with the caption ‘Bringing back Memories’.

This he did, singing songs from several artists including Frank Sinatra, the Beatles and Elvis, among others, with songs like my Delilah, Strangers in the Night, Obla dee Obla Da, What a Wonderful World, Don’t be Cruel and My Way.
