Trucks collide, leaves passenger seriously injured

The roadway was blocked while emergency personnel worked to stabilise the man.

TWO trucks collided on South Coast Road before Edwin Swales Drive, leaving one man seriously injured just before 12.30pm today, 17 August.

Rescue Care paramedics found the passenger with serious injuries. He was stabilised at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital under advanced life support care.
The roadway was blocked while emergency personnel worked to stabilise the man. Police were on scene and will investigate.
