Bikers amass diapers in weekend nappy run

MOTORCYCLISTS rallied behind the Christian Motorcyclists Association on Saturday, 13 August as they collected diapers for organisations in need.

The annual nappy run mass bike ride was held on a warm winter’s day, commencing at Southway Mall and ending at Woodlands Sports Club.

Entrants in the bike run had to donate a pack of baby or adult diapers.

The recipients of this year’s collection were Barney and Friends, the Domino Foundation and Mooihawens.

Following the handover of the much-needed sanitary items, the festivities ensued with a live band, food on sale, entertainment for the children and general revelry.
