Woman (29) raped after being promised a job

Police believe the man in the identikit can be of assistance in solving the case.

BRIGHTON Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (BBFCSU) appeals to the community for assistance in a rape which happened on 29 April.

A potential job opportunity turned into a nightmare for the 29-year-old victim when she was raped at knife-point by a man who promised it to her.

According to the woman, she was walking in Jacobs when she met the man who promised her a job in a company. He gave her all the information about the job, they continued to walk further down the street near a bushy area where he pushed her to the ground at knife point and raped her.

A case of rape was opened at Wentworth SAPS for investigation and the docket was transferred to BBFCS unit.

Police believe the man in the identikit can be of assistance in solving the case. He is believed to be in his 60s, well-built and medium in height, and he has a tooth missing.
