The Sun was proud to announce the winners of the 2016 Southlands Sun Absolute Best Readers’ Choice Awards at a function held at Bluff National Park Golf Course (BNPGC) last Tuesday, 21 June.
Sun managing editor, Michellé Izatt lauded the winning businesses, whose representatives had gathered to accept their certificates. She hailed their ability to remain committed to their clients and customers – to the extent that they had chosen them as their preferred businesses across almost 50 categories.
She affirmed what they already knew – that business has become about more than simply ensuring one remains competitive and heeds good customer service principles. “The advent of social media and changes in the marketplace mean your clients demand accountability and a social conscience,” she said. “Another aspect that’s an absolute must in business is the ability to adapt and change.”
