Eco-learning at CROW holiday club

The cost is R120 per child per day or R500 per a week

THE school holidays are fast approaching and along with it the opportunity for environmental education through CROW’s Holiday Club.

The Yellowwood Park-based Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) will play host to children from six to 11-years-old on week days from Monday, 27 June to Friday, 15 July for educational entertainment.

Activities lined up for the holiday programme include among others, interactive environmental education lessons, recycled craft projects, eco-friendly art sessions and local wildlife quizzes and puzzles.

Lunch and tea breaks will be provided (advise of special dietary requirements or food allergies) and all participants will receive a CROW Wildlife Warriors activity book and a certificate of completion.

The cost is R120 per child per day or R500 per a week and the day runs from 8am to 4pm. Parents may drop off the children at CROW’s Environmental Educentre, 15A Coedmore Avenue from 7am to 8am and collect them from 4pm to 4.30pm.
