According to SAPS KZN media desk, a man who had stopped on the M7 after his car broke down was approached by two armed men who ordered him to hand over his wallet and mobile phone.
After he had been robbed, the man drew his own gun and shot at the two thieves. Both men suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital under police guard.
