No umbrellas needed this weekend

There is no snow expected this weekend.

You will be surprised if you expect rainfall this weekend.

Although there will be spates of droplets on Friday, 20 May, Saturday dawns with only a 30% probability of rain and Sunday zero, according to the www.weathersa.co.za website.

Expect cooler temperatures though, with a high of only 23 degrees on Friday, 20 on Saturday and 22 on Sunday. Low temperatures drop down to a chilly 10 degrees on Saturday and nine on Sunday.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday remain similar as Sunday, with an even colder Thursday expected with a maximum of 21.

There is no snow expected this weekend, despite the low temperatures in KZN. The freezing altitude level could drop to around 2500 metres in places, but it does not look like much snow, if any, will fall. Any snow fall will be extremely light and confined to the extreme high peaks.
