THE Robin Hood Foundation urges locals to consider donating unused baby clothes to its Love the Babies 2016 campaign.
Durban businesswoman, designer and mum, Kathrin Kidger, has shown her support for the campaign.
After having a clear out of the baby items she’s lovingly kept from her daughter Reine, she encourages mums in the community to do the same. “I was so saddened to hear how the mums of these newborns have nothing, not even a blanket for their babies. There is nothing more special than knowing your treasured baby outfits will bring a smile to the face of a new mum and keep a newborn snug and warm,” said Kathrin.
“Love the Babies is such a great initiative, I’d like to encourage all the mums in our community to get involved, have a spring clean of your baby’s unused clothes and get in touch with Robin Hood.”
