Festive treat from Wentworth dance school

The production will showcase a variety of Christmas songs.

SANTA Claus and his reindeers are coming to town with the Dance Movement Christmas production at the Jubilee Hall at UKZN on Saturday, 12 December at 6pm.

The production will showcase a variety of favourite Christmas songs such as ‘Jingles bells’, ‘Hark the herald angels sing’ and many more songs remixed into hip hop and house music.

Dancers will be performing hip hop, break dancing and street style choreography.

“I’m really excited and nervous as we have never produced a Christmas production. This one is a little different with the hip hop remixes the dancers are performing to. Durban audiences are in for a treat with this production,” said artistic director, Jarryd Watson.

The production also features Durban’s funny man, Carvin Goldstone who will be doing stand-up comedy and entertaining the audiences with Christmas jokes. Singer, Rory Booth will perform all-time favourite Christmas songs with his strong vocals.

Tickets are R90. Entrance is free for children U5. For more information and tickets, call 082-683-9665.
