DSW works during festive season

DURBAN Solid Waste (DSW) will continue to function throughout the festive season.

The municipality has confirmed DSW operational services will operate during the holiday period, including Christmas and New Year’s days, while the office will be closed on 16, 25 and 26 December and 1 January.

The unavailability of contractors on Christmas and New Year’s days means orange and clear bags will not be collected.

DSW workers are not allowed to ask for gifts and residents are cautioned to be aware of impostors posing as municipal workers in this regard.
