QUICK-acting police tracked down and arrested two people who hijacked a Yellowwood Park woman on Tuesday, 17 November.
At about 8pm a woman, who was stopped outside her home in Sandpiper Road was hijacked by three armed people wearing beanies and gloves.
They raced away in her silver Mercedes Benz, leaving her on the side of the road.
The K9 unit swiftly tracked down the car and two of the hijackers were arrested in Umlazi while still in the Mercedes.
“Montclair SAPS management commends the members in the speedy recovery and arrest of the suspects,” said communications officer, Warrant Officer Poobalan Marimuthu.
