TWO weeks after robbing a Montclair home, four men were arrested when Montclair Community Crime Patrol (MCCP) members saw them driving through Yellowwood Park.

On Thursday, 29 October a Bredell Place home was robbed by men driving a white Nissan bakkie. On Saturday, 14 November MCCP members saw this car driving around in Yellowwood Park.

They followed the bakkie to Shoprite and kept watch until Montclair SAPS’ Warrant Officer PS Govender and Reservist Constable Deyzel arrived.

The two policemen arrested four people who were linked to the house robbery. Police are currently investigating if the four can be linked to any other crimes.

“Montclair SAPS management commends the MCCP and SAPS members for their dedication to combating crime,” said communications officer, Warrant Officer Poobalan Marimuthu.
