Bluff trio make in excess of 400 blood donations

THREE Bluff donors have reached landmark numbers of donations at the South Durban Donor Clinic by doing their bit to save lives.

Nathanael Scheepers and Jennifer Hailstone both made their 100th donation and Stuart Kennard made a record 225th donation recently.

The clinic urges people to donate to save lives. Blood stocks need to be kept up to ensure a sufficient level for people in need. These usually include people in accidents or undergoing surgery, cancer patients, women haemorrhaging due to pregnancy or other gyneacological complications and children with anaemia.

Donors must be aged from 16 to 65, weigh more than 50kg and lead a sexually safe lifestyle.
