Flutter along to BotSoc butterfly talk

Entrance at the door costs R35 which includes refreshments R35 for BotSoc members and the Friends of Durban Botanic Gardens and R45 for non-members.

DURBAN Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre hosts an illustrated talk by Lindsay Gray and Steve Woodhall on Monday, 26 October at 6pm.

With the recent release of Steve and Lindsay’s book called Gardening for Butterflies, the duo will discuss tips for structuring a butterfly garden, with practical examples from Steve’s recently revamped garden.

They will also chat about the various habitats that butterflies enjoy, which are easy to establish in your own garden, and their photos of butterflies and examples of fine butterfly gardens will delight.

Lindsay is the principal of The School of Garden Design and Steve is president of the Lepidopterists’ Society of Africa. Both have written several books.

All are welcome.

Entrance at the door costs R35 which includes refreshments R35 for BotSoc members and the Friends of Durban Botanic Gardens and R45 for non-members. Students with cards pay R25.
