Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa hosts a double dose of Mended Hearts support meetings this September.
The first takes place on Monday, 28 September from 2pm to 4pm at Life Entabeni Hospital conference room, 148 Mazisi Kunene Road, Glenwood. Guest speaker is Christelle Crickmore, science and programme development manager at the Heart and Stroke Foundation SA. She will give a health talk and do a free heart age screening for members.
The second support group meeting will held on Tuesday, 29 September from 5pm to 7pm at Life Westville Hospital, 7 Spine Road, Westville. Guest speaker, physiotherapist Ceyoni will talk about ‘exercise for a healthy heart’.
These meetings are free to attend, open to all and are of interest to those who have suffered a cardiovascular disease or stroke event or have a family member or a friend who has suffered such. Refreshments will be served.
